Block Heater May Overheat and Cause Fire
An overheated engine block heater increases the risk of a fire.
Dealers will replace the block heater element and inspect the electrical cord, replacing it if necessary, free of charge. Interim letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, are expected to be mailed October 20, 2025. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available, anticipated February 2026. Incorrect Emergency Valve May be Damaged and Leak
Hazardous liquids may leak onto people near the tank, increasing the risk of injury.
Brenner Tank will replace the emergency valve, free of charge. Owners may contact Brenner Tank customer service at 1-800-558-8265.
Inadequate Windshield Bonding/FMVSS 212
In the event of a crash, windshield detachment can increase the risk of injury.

Missing Over Current Protection May Cause Fire
Unprotected wiring can increase the risk of a fire.

Sewer Gas May Enter Vehicle
Sewer gas that enters the vehicle increases the risk of injury.

Air Conditioner May Catch Fire
An overheated soft start device increases the risk of a fire.
Genesis will work with GE appliances to replace the soft start device, free of charge. An owner notification letter was mailed by October 16, 2025. Owner may contact Genesis Supreme customer service at 1-951-337-0254.
Loss of Steering Control
The tie rod clamp can separate from the vehicle, resulting in a loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.
