IF THE PIPES OR THE COOLER INLET PIPES FAIL AND ARE LEFT UNTREATED, THE AIR CLEANER AND INNER FENDER MAY BE SUBJECT TO HOT EXHAUST GASES, WHICH COULD LEAD TO A FIRE.

DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPAIR THE EGR COOLER PIPES AS REQUIRED AND INSTALL A HEAT SHIELD FREE OF CHARGE. AN INTERIM OWNER LETTER WAS MAILED ON FEBRUARY 17, 2006, TO ADVISE ON PRECAUTIONS THAT THE OWNER CAN TAKE UNTIL PARTS BECOME AVAILABLE. Bradley Electric Smokers Recalled for Shock Hazard

In addition to the electric cord that plugs into the wall, these units have an electric cord with prongs on both ends that connect the generator to the smoker. If the unit is plugged into the wall socket and one end of the connecting cord is unplugged, there is an electric shock hazard.

Consumers should immediately stop using these smokers and contact Bradley Technologies (Canada) Inc. to determine if the smoker is part of the recall. Bradley Technologies will provide a free replacement smoker to consumers.

The garments have a drawstring through the hood, posing a strangulation hazard to children.

Consumers should remove the drawstrings to eliminate the hazard or return the garment to the store where purchased for a refund.

Maxi-Heat™ Dream Tower Heater Recalled for Fire Hazard

The wires inside the oscillating heater can short circuit and spark, posing a fire hazard to consumers.

Consumers should immediately stop using these heaters and unplug them. Return the recalled heaters to a Wal-Mart store for a full refund.

IF THE ENGINE STOPS RUNNING, THE OPERATOR WILL NOT BE ABLE TO RESTART THE VEHICLE WHICH COULD INCREASE THE RISK OF A CRASH.

Homelite Vac Attack II Blower Recalled for Laceration Hazard

The blowers are missing the doors covering the vacuum inlet. This exposes the blower's fan blade, posing a risk of finger laceration to the user.

Consumers should stop using these blowers immediately and return them to a Home Depot store for a new blower or a full refund.

Auto Safety Kit, Auto Aid in a Bottle, Winter Safety Ki Recalled for Safety Concern

The products have a flashlight that relies on a powerful magnet and copper coil for manual recharging. The magnet adversely affects the polarity of the compass rendering it unreliable. The magnet could be powerful enough to disrupt a heart patient's Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator (ICD). The product's packaging lacks appropriate warning information.

Consumers with recalled kits should contact L.L. Bean immediately to receive a free warning label for the flashlight. Consumers with Outdoorsman in a Bottle kits will receive a free replacement compass/whistle.

The motor coil insulation can be worn away by vibration from the motor, which could pose a shock hazard.

Consumers should stop using the recalled routers immediately and contact Porter-Cable for a free inspection, and repair, if necessary.

pump failed to respond to keypad button pressess after using the food database feature

The recalling firm issued a recall notice dated 4/11/05 to all patients and healthcare providers via first class mail. The letter instructs the patient to reset the pump, thus correcting any problems caused by the software bug, and to discontinue use of the food database. All distributors were contacted by phone on 4/12/05 and instructed to return all pumps in their inventory. On 4/25/05, the recalling began emailing and telephoning patients to arrange for replacement and return of the devices.
