CUSHMAN/FUEL LINE LEAK
FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE COULD RESULT IN A FIRE.
OWNERS WILL BE SENT A NEW FUEL LINE. IF A CUSTOMER SO WISHES, A DEALER CAN INSTALL THE FUEL LINE FOR THEM. OWNER NOTIFICATION IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING FEBRUARY 2002. OWNERS WHO DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE PARTS WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT RANSOMES/CUSHMAN AT 1-402-475-9581.
"Arctic Cat 500" ATV Recalled for Injury Hazard
There may be an inadequate weld on the front upper A-arm bracket. If the upper A-arm bracket separates from the frame, the rider could lose control of the vehicle and be seriously injured.
Consumers should contact their authorized dealer to schedule an appointment to receive a free replacement.
Water fountains with candle holders Recalled for Fire Hazard
The tea candles on the water fountains can flare up, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Consumers should stop using the tea candles immediately and return the water fountain set to the store where purchased, for a full refund or a replacement of the tea candles.
"Aero bars" handlebar extensions Recalled for Crash Hazard
The brackets that attach the aero bars' forearm pads, where riders rest their arms, can loosen or separate during use, causing the rider to lose control and crash.
Consumers should stop using the recalled aero bars immediately and contact the company to receive two free replacement brackets.
Wooden candle holders Recalled for Fire Hazard
When the candle burns down to the bottom of the wick, it can set the candle holder on fire, which poses fire and burn hazards to consumers.
Consumers should stop using these candle holders immediately and call Darice for a full refund.
