The screws on the wooden mattress support can come loose, allowing a portion of the mattress to fall, posing a suffocation hazard to young children.

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled cribs. Destroy and discard the cribs. The firm is no longer in business. A remedy is no longer available.

- Simplicity Inc. has received 14 reports of the mattress support coming loose, including eight reports of entrapment. Five injuries have been reported, including scratches and bruises to the face and head, a strained neck and a report of a child turning blue.
