Missing Door Handle Lock/FMVSS 206
A door that cannot be locked may open unexpectedly during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.

Hazard Lights May Shut Off/FMVSS 108
Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Driveshaft May Contact and Damage Brake Chamber
Damaged brake components may cause a reduction of brake performance and unexpected activation of the emergency braking system, increasing the risk of a crash.

Incorrect Washer Can Cause Fire
The incorrect washer can cause the bus bar connection to loosen or open, resulting in electrical arcing and increasing the risk of a fire.

Inadequate Fuse Protection Can Cause Fire
In the event of a short, the fuse may open too slowly or not at all, increasing the risk of a fire.

Upper Steering Shaft Clamp Bolts May be Loose
The loose bolts can cause steering system components to separate, resulting in loss of steering control and increasing the risk of a crash.

Missing or incorrectly positioned lights and reflectors can reduce the trailers visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is available. Orange EV will install front side marker lights and relocate the front reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 15, 2025. Frame Extenders Obstruct Rear Lights/FMVSS 108
Obstructed rear lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised to limit on-road use while operating without a trailer until the remedy is completed. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed February 21, 2025. Parking Brake May Not Engage
A loose fastener may prevent the parking brake from properly engaging, allowing the vehicle to rollaway and increasing the risk of a crash.

Steering Gear Assembled Incorrectly
A fractured steering gear can cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.

Pitman Arm Bolt Not Tightened Properly
A loose bolt may allow the pitman arm to detach from the steering box, causing a loss of steering and increasing the risk of a crash.
